If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place. I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, & other life transitions, helping them to find hope in their lives again.
Mary Michail has been counseling families for over 30 years. In her years of helping others, Mary has found one thing to be true of all individuals; human beings are resilient, hopeful, strong, ambitious, and courageous. They fight for happiness and fairness and refuse to rest until they have secured it safely within their reach.
Mary finds her work humbling and rewarding. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults and is skilled with couples and families. Mary received her Master’s Degree from Wayne State University. She is also an active Member of the ACA (American Counseling Association) and a National Board Certified Counselor.

Mary has changed my life. I have been in and out of therapy my whole life and it never seemed to work. In just two years working with Mary, I have learned to love myself and realize I’m worth it. We worked though all my past issues, things I just couldn’t let go of.
Mary has a way of telling you exact what you need to hear, even if it’s not what you want to hear! Her approach was exactly what I needed to change my life. I have learned I am more than just a mom. I have discovered new hobbies that I love. Mary will listen and get to know who you really are and she will give you tools and homework to make your life better.
If you are ready to change your life and put in the work, Mary is the perfect place to start. I can’t thank her enough for everything she has taught me. I love life again and am looking forward to my future. -Lisa
